First Guest, Dates, Pre-Registration and Art Submissions

The RIT Anime Club is pleased to announce dates for this year's Tora-Con as well as pre-registration prices, the continuation of Art Submissions and our first guest, Jon St. John!

Jon St. John is an American voice actor who has provided the character voices for more than 120 video games and countless commercial projects. Best known as the voice of DUKE NUKEM, Jon is also heard on games such as: World of Warcraft, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Sonic Adventure, Conduit 2, Heroes of Newerth, Call of Cthulhu, The Die Hard Trilogy, Rochard, and Guild Wars. He has also provided character voices for theme parks such as Legoland California, and Dollywood in Tennessee. Jon is also a lead singer and keyboard player in a Southern California cover band known as Uncle Boogie. A regular honored guest at cons from coast to coast, Jon says he's thrilled to have a job that he loves, and having fans worldwide doesn't suck, either.

Tora-Con 2011 will be held April 21-22 2012 on the Rochester Institute of Technology campus in Rochester, New York.

Pre-registration is now available for $20 and will only be for both Saturday and Sunday.

Tora-Con is again accepting art submissions this year. Send any tiger related art to art-submissions@toracon.org. Vector art is preferred. If the artwork is used on any of Tora-Con's promotional material, the artist will be given two badges to the Tora-Con and will receive credit in the con book. All art submitted will be kept for possible usage in future Tora-Con promotional materials. Artists whose art is used in any future Tora-Con will receive the same benefits that year.
